Banana bunch holder/stand

Here's a picture of 3 Banana holders I made recently - 2 are in Red Oak and 1 in Cherry.

Decorative Sled for a flower pot (or whatever you want to put in it.)

Here's some pictures of a sled plant holder I made recently. It's small enough to be a center piece or just used for decoration. A great way to use up bits of scrap wood.

Soup Can Dispenser

My daughter ask me to make her a can dispenser and here's what I came up with. It holds 4 rows across and 6 cans in each row for a total of 24 cans.
I sizes it for 15 oz soup cans but the smaller 11 1/2 oz cans work well too.

Made out of 1/2" particle board and 1/4" plywood so it would be strong yet light.
Used a LOT of screws on this to make sure it held together and held up.

Here it is in use at my Daughter's house.
I used a french cleat for ease of mounting it on the wall. As long as the wall cleat was mounted on studs it provides support across the entire unit.

Wood Chest with hidden drawer

Here's a small chest I built recently. It is a 3 drawer chest. The top drawer front is a false front and the top lifts to find a deep compartment.
In this picture it shows the 3 drawers. The 3rd drawer is hidden in the base moulding.
Here's the finished chest. Added a decorative railing to the top. I'm still looking for the right knobs or handles for it.
