More Candy Dispensers

Spent the day yesterday making more Candy dispensers. Found a cool globe shaped jar at a Thrift store. Was making one for a high school classmate of mine but she said she was going to give it to her father so now I'm making one for her and her dad.
I'm think about making these for sale too, but not sure about how much to charge. I'll have to get better at making them otherwise I'll never get enough to pay for the time it takes me to make them. Live and learn...

I've been thinking, these could work for peanuts too.

Candy Dispenser

Here is my latest project. A candy dispenser.
This will hold any candy that will fit in the hole in the wheel.. Gum balls, Jelly beans, M & M's, Skittles,
whatever you like. I have to warn you though, it requires a canning jar and it's lid. Now I have to find another jar, because my daughter tells me she wants one too. (grin)

Built my own drill press table. The stack of wood is replacement centers for the table for when I have to drill through the table. Oh, did I mention that I got a new drill press for Christmas? It's a Harbor Freight brand but I absolutely love it! This is the first drill press I have ever owned!!!!!! I'm thrilled about it.

I want to look for a cheap used wood lathe next.
I needed a shelf for a model horse I had created a leather saddle for so I came up with this idea.
Here's the saddle and saddle bags on the model horse.
Created some additional Bandsaw boxes this year. One went to a lady at the library and the other is going to my wife. I keep forgetting her when I make things. (created some stands for finishing the boxes too.)

Thrift Store Find

Here's my latest thrift store find. A Black and Decker VPX drill/driver, Sawzall and Flashlight set.
It was missing the charger but came with one Li-ion battery. I was able to purchase a charger and 2 additional batteries on Ebay. I love to use it and the drill/driver has amazing torque. One of my better additions to my shop and a great thrift find. If  I can get my daughter to spend some time with me thrifting I'd be happier, but she is determined to go without me. Guess I'm not much of a father... Oh well, On to my latest projects!
